Just started playing again this summer, after about 8 years. Played a lot when I was a teenager but I didn’t understand golf and I thought it was corny. But I’ve gotten older and more mature. It’s a really fun and technical game so I’m really into it now. I had lessons back then, now I’m trying to pick it back up and get better. Any tips? My girlfriend and I were messing around at top golf, so I was really trying to kill the ball lol.

Yes. But there is hope.
At first look, your arms play way off your chest, you take the club extremely far back. try to keep you hands in front of your chest and hinge at the wrists. Also because you’re not turning your body much, your hips are very closed. you also tend to stand up in your back swing. good news is you seemed to make pretty good contact and shallower the club very well based off of everything else.
Yeah, kinda is. But you look reasonably athletic so maybe you can pull it off. You are using your arms to simulate rotation. Use your body/shoulders to turn, not a big arm swing move. You’ll never be consistent swinging with that much arm action.
